7 1/2 x 5 1/2  x 2 1/2 " One of a kind Krakow Nativity by many times competition winner Dziwisz. Set against a dramatic background of shimmering indigo blue and golden star this gem of a small nativity sports three tiers of activity. On the bottom a Krakowiak in traditional costume and a Tatra Highlander called Goral also in traditional costume join with the legendary Lajkonik, a half man half horse figure that has saved Krakow from the invading Tatars in the 13th c. they perform a Christmas play for the Holy Family in front of the church cordoned off with a golden chain. On the second level the Holy Family is watching the performers. In the third level are three church spires, two with the Polish national flag and then third, the famous crowned spire of the St. Mary Church of Krakow has the Polish eagle on top.
