On the first level is an elevated  golden stage. Over it held by golden columns is  ornate canopy bedecked with silver balls, colored glower and a star. Under it in a silver chamber  is the Holy Family accompanied by  6 foil figures each a different colors, bringing presents and blessing for the new born Baby Jesus. On the second level is the dome of the Wawel chapel in Wavel hill, the residence of the Polish royal family when Krakow was the capital of Poland until 1596, when it was moved to Warsaw. The beautiful blue copula is enhanced with gold  and foil flowers and has a crown on its top, a token reminder to it’s being the royal chape. From the second level three church towers rise highly decorated with stars and flowers. Each tower has an additional level, the central one culminating   in  a big golden crown of the St. Mary basilica in the market square of Krakow, and above it the Polish national eagle.   The two side one each sport a silver copula with a star , a small crown and on a pole the Polish national flag.

Each nativity is slightly different in color combination.

The Krakow nativities offered by daPolonia.com are all made by the same artists that take part in the yearly Krakow nativities competition. They are created using the same material and techniques employed to create the originals that took part in the competition Many of the nativities offered are copies of nativities that were entered into the competition, many of which are part of the collection of the Krakow Museum in Krakow Poland, which has been administrating the competition since 1946, and which mounts a show of the Krakow nativities after the competition takes place.
These copies of the nativities are sometimes made in more than one size enabling the customer to have a nativity of the right size for their home or office.
These UNESCO designated world heritage nativities are genuine works of art, that would become a family heirloom
