Carved glass Christmas ornament after Claude Monet’s beloved painting the waterlily. Monet kept painting his garden, with the waterlily pond and the Japanese bridge on it that he has created in his country residence in Giverny. In the last 30 years of his life, Monet has painted over 250 painting of his flower garden the waterlilies pond and the Japanese bridge he built over it. He has painted it at different hours of the day, and at all seasons capturing the ever changing effects of light and atmosphere.
Monet himself has shown a series of the waterlilies painting side by side. Currently there are some museums that also own more than one waterlily painting which are shown side by side. In the 1920 the state of France built two round rooms in the Musee de L’orangerie as a permanent home for 8 waterlilies murals. The painting show the waterlily floating in the water as if the whole world was contained within it.

The glitter we use is environmentally safe and is the same glitter used in cosmetics. All the molds are proprietary created by our own mold maker.
