Glorious golden green Japanese kimono from the kimono collections of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. The Museum of Fine Arts Boston houses one of the largest and finest collections of Japanese arts outside Japan. A collection that includes hundreds of kimonos as well as panels for kimono and kimonos patterns. The ornament was created using an image from the Museum of Fina Art Boston collection of a golden embroidery over a greenish gold fabric of a traditional kimono. The masterly carving of the kimono make captures the magic of this unique garment , enhancing the folds in the fabric, and creating a feeling that a woman was wearing a nd filling it just a minute ago. The Kimono has a shiny stripe at the border which goes around the neck , and is covered in golden glitter embroidery all over of floral motives of flowers and leaves. It is easy to recognize the maple leave among other elements on the kimono. Very elegant, in a way that keeps growing on you the longer you look at it.
The daPolonia glass Christmas ornaments are designed and made in Mia’s studio in Krakow Poland. Steeped in centuries old traditions of glass ornaments making, drawing on the love of art and history, the ornament continues an old tradition of uncompromising quality and artistry.
The ornaments are fully made by Mia, and are 100% hand made in the old fashion way.
