Glass Christmas ornament of Giuseppe Verdi’s tragic heroine -Violetta of his famous opera La Traviata. Based on a libretto that in turn derives from Alexander Dumas “La Dame au Camelias”. The opera has become one of the most popular and most widely performed operas in the world. Originally it was titled Violetta after the main character, but then changed to La Traviata – the fallen woman.The Violetta ornament is attired in flowing pink blue and white flowing and layered dress, and white glitter gloves. There is a red rose stuck in the ruffles of her low sloping dress. A blue fan in her right hand, and the dress is tied with golden belt. At the bottom of the dress , in it’s hem, lurks the ominous skull foretelling her fate. The perfect present to any opera lover.

Starting with hand blown shapes and balls, hand silvering, coating with the base coat, and hand painting and glittering. The glitter we use is environmentally safe and is the same glitter used in cosmetics. All the molds are proprietary created by our own mold maker.
