On an elevated stage in a silver chamber the Holy Family watches over 6 foil figures each a different colors bringing presents and blessing for the new born Baby Jesus. The stage is surrounded by two beautiful rows of silver flowers with fil flowers in between. A beautiful canopy trimmed with silver beads and colored beads all around covers the first level. Several orange balls sit on top of it. On the second level is the dome of the Wawel Chapel between two church towers with colorful stained windows. On the third level in between the church towers are columns with golden star in front of two back set blue church tower. The towers culminate with green pointy roof ending with a colored ball, and glorious crown around it, after the famous crowned steeple of the St. Mary basilica. The side crowns are topped with the Polish national flag in red and white, while the central crown sports the Polish national eagle in silver and gold.
Because it’s hand made there are slight differences in foil color used and other details from nativity to nativity.

The Krakow nativities offered by daPolonia.com are all made by the same artists that take part in the yearly Krakow nativities competition. They are created using the same material and techniques employed to create the originals that took part in the competition Many of the nativities offered are copies of nativities that were entered into the competition, many of which are part of the collection of the Krakow Museum in  Krakow Poland, which has been administrating the competition since 1946, and which mounts a show of the Krakow nativities after the competition takes place.

These copies of the nativities are sometimes made in more than one size enabling the customer to have a nativity of the right size for their home or office.

These UNESCO designated world heritage nativities are genuine works of art, that would become a family heirloom
