A 4 1/2″ diameter glass Christmas ornament of Vermeer’s masterpiece the Milkmaid. Wonderfully athmospheric considered one of Vemeer’s most important painting. The young peasant girl, is all focused on pouring the milk to the jar . Painted c. 1658. On the back is Vermeer’s signature.
