In 1885 the the eastern part of the church was covered with murals by the founder of the young Poland Stanislaw Wyspianski, a contemporary of Gustav Klimt. The murals are mostly of flowers, and the roses are one of the amazing murals in the church. It has been adapted into a glorious tree ornament.
