Glass Christmas ornament of a Parisian Santa – AKA Per Noel de Moulin Rouge. Moulin rouge is one of Paris and possibly also internationally most well known night club- cabaret. The building is marked by the red windmill on it’s roof. The cabaret is close to Montmartre the artist neighborhood. The Can Can dance immortalized by Toulouse Lautrec who was an habitue at the club was invented in the club .The Moulin Rouge Santa is wearing a green coat trimmed with white fur, on the back of his coat are painted the dancing legs of the famous Can Can dancer. Santa is sitting atop the building hugging the red wind mill with his feet. At the bottom of the ornament the club name: Moulin rouge is carved. A wonderful memento of Paris to add up to your tree.
