Light turquoise glass Christmas ornament of Edgar Degas’ favorite image – a ballerina. Edgar Degas painted many themes portraits, animals, landscaper, but half of his artistic output has been painter, both depicted in painting as well as sculptures. However, now he is mostly remembered as a ballerinas and dancer painter and sculptor. Degas is also considered as one of the founding fathers of the Impressionist movement of the late 19th century. The ballerina here is in a typical dance movement with her raised back leg hidden behind her tutu, and arms outstretched. A treasure for any ballet lover.

Starting with hand blown shapes and balls, hand silvering, coating with the base coat, and hand painting and glittering. The glitter we use is environmentally safe and is the same glitter used in cosmetics. All the molds are proprietary created by our own mold maker.
