7 1/2 x 2″
An exquisite rendering of Flora from Sandro Botticelli’s Primavera masterpiece. It was painted in the late 1470’s early 1480’s and is one of the most popular painting in the Western world. The beautiful Flora the Roman Goddess of spring is wearing a floral dress, she has a flower necklace and flower wreath on her head. She is throwing flowers all around her.The image of a young woman and flowers both allude to rebirth and continuity. The transparent delicate, generously glittered, elongated ornaments looks slightly different in different light, a marvel of workmanship.
