3″ diameter  1 1/4″ deep.

Last red 100th anniversary of NYC Subway’s ornament.

The  ornament was created uniquely for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the New York Subway in 2004 in a very limited edition. These are the  absolute last ones remaining and by now they are truely collector’s item.  The ornament was made in the shape of a round token, like the very popular tokens used to enter the Subway for many years from 1953 up to 2003. The token is bycolor red and gold. Red on one side with gold glitter writing and marking on it and gold on the other side with the border connecting both sides in red glitter. On one side of t he token on the top and the bottom are two paralel gold glittered raised lines with the word anniversary below the top line and above the lower line. In between them in raised letters  the number 100 is carved and glittered in gold glitter. On the other side of the token is a golden Subway car against the sky scraper  of New York City  world famous skyline, under the Subway car is a circle with the MTA logo. Above the Subway car and the New York Skyline  like a long cloud the words 1904-2004 in shiny gold letter are written. Just like the real tocken there is an inner circle in which the words The New York Subway going clockcwise are carved, and the words A Century of Progress in Motion are carved  going counter clockwise. The sides of the round token are fully glittered in shimmering red glitter.
