Green spire szopka krakow’s ntivity, creche by  Krkow’s nativity competiion award winning  artist -Marzena. The Krakow’s nativity is signed with an initial by the artist on the back of the nativity.

The nativity has two level, though the steeples have four levels for the two side ones and six level for the central steeple. The ground level  all in gold with gold trim all around. The first level has three parts, the two side parts which are the bases of the side steeples that are royal blue have floor to ceiling dommed window with silver grates and trim  on the from anddimond shaped red design surrounded with gold trimming. At the central part the Holy Family is located. St. Joseph holding a long golden cane and flowing black beard has a brown coat with silver check while Virgin Mary wears a royal blue robe and gold cape. Baby jesus is wrraped in light blue blanket. all members of the holy Family have a golden halo around their head. They stand in an entrance way between two golden column with green bases in front of wide golden doors. Over the Holy Family is a shiny golden copula somewhat resembling the one of the Wavel Castle cathedral, with blue base and red and gold windows on the balcony of the szopka’s second level. Similar copulas are in other churches, but not in gold color. The two side columns  are red and have arched orange floor to ceiling window trimmed with gold and silver with the arches top extendingslightly  to the next level. On the third level there are once again orange archec windows with silver and gold trim  on three isdes, with the window grates in the shape of the cross, while the central column is royal blue with gold, silver greenand red scroll trim. On the side steeples, the fourth level has the green spires reminiscent of those on St. Andrew church with triangular gold trim ending with red dot on top. Each of the green spires has the Polish national  red and white flag on top. The central steepl has an octagonal  green spire with gold trim marking each of the eight sides  and on top of it a pinnacle with the round level in gold with silver trim and the top once again in green with gold marking. On the top is the Polish national symbol the  crowned eagle, in grey with golden lines on its wings for a great effect. Just spectacular.

The szopka coloration adhere to the traditional coloratioln of szopki i.e. blue, green white gold and silver.

Krakow’s Nativities originated in Krakow in the 19th century when the construction workers idled by the sever Krakow winter started creating Christmas nativities. However instead of locating the Holy family in the manger, it has been located within famous Krakow landmarks and architecture, and embelished with characters from Polish and Krakow’s lore and legend.

The Krakow’s nativities were inscribed in UNESCO’s world heritage.
